Mock Brandon's girls' soccer team began and ended the season with wins. Although the season overall was not a winning one, the Lady Chargers, under the guidance of Coach Joy King and Co-Captains Shari Campbell and Trish Sawyer, represented Brandon well and vastly improved as the season progressed. Camille Sites was selected most valuable player for the season.

A lone Brandon Charger sets up a score against a well- defended goal. Brandon's boys' soccer team, after a slow start, gradually built momentum. For the final game of the season, they were scheduled to face second-place Virginia Beach Junior. Under the leadership of Coach Bill Bell, a determined Charger team sound- ly defeated this highly-favored team. As a result of this spec- tacular finish, Brandon ended the season fourth in the league with a record of three wins, three losses, and one tie.
