A wide variety of sports is offered throughout the year for students who are interested both in giving up a lot of their free time and exerting a great deal of their physical energy. the tiigin fall, boys can participate in football and girls in field hockey. During the winter, there is a choice reii be- tween basketball and iivrestling for bdys andiibe- tween basketball and gymnastics for girls. In the spring, track is available for both boys and girls. If that doesn't appeal to them, boys ban instead choose to participate in baseball and girls in softball. It is the goal of both the coaches and players to make the sports experience both a worthwhile and satisfying one for Brandon students. If time spent and effort expended are indicators of fhow well this goal was met, the 1979-80 Braridon sports season can be judged a huge success. 17
