Sharing Togethe Qi x As two of the largest special clubs at Brandon High, CFS Fellowship Societyj and FCA of Christian Athletesj set out to spread word about Christ as their goal for '80-'81 school year. Many ofthe activities, and, when school began, students brought their beliefs in Christ school and shared their feelings wit others by joining CFS or FCA. CFS mem bers went on a retreat to Camp Florida fo one weekend. Athletes who wanted t share their beliefs in Christjoined FCA. A their monthly meetings, there were ofte guest speakers or films with testimonials. Throughout the year Bible meetings were held at individual FCA members' homes in the evenings. Members of both orga- nizations appreciated the opportunity to be with other students who shared thei religious convictions. ,during CFS

Marching Band 3 Concentrating on both counting the beats and mar- Ehing are Denise Williams, Alanna Stephens, and Mark annella. Assistant Drum Major Marsh Rainey prepares for the DSX! l'OUflI'1E. Performing during halftime at football games was just a small portion of the Marching Band's activities. Pep Rallies, parades and district contest were events these members spent hours practicing for. Mr. Lonnie Keen worked with the band during their sixth period class, while Gregg Morrow, Head Drum Major, and Marsh Ftainey, Assistant Drum Major, directed the band on the field and during the Monday Night rehearsals. All these practices paid off as the band marched to its 24th consecutive superior. The band sold light bulbs as a fund raiser. The money earned was used to purchase new uniforms. lt took plenty of time and desire to achieve the superiority to this 146- member band. 69
