Recognizing Special People E324 People were the interest of SAC, Hu- Relations and B Club. The three expressed their concern in diffe- ways. Two vastly different clubs put their efforts toward making school a better place to be, one by planning for and oper- ating audio-vlsual equipment and the other by promoting good feelings about our school. The Sophisticated Audio Visual Oper- ators Staff iSAVOSj, which had existed for seven years at Brandon High, had done a lot for the student body, school, andthe community. With the help of their sponsors, Mr. Barry Bunn, Mrs. Carol Covington, and Mrs. Joy Stafford, mem- bers of Savos operated all the lighting and sound equipment in both the auditorium and gymnasium. Some of the productions they did during the school year were Calendar Couple, Miss Brandon, Junior Woman's Club Follies 1980, and the play M.A.S.H. put on by Drama. At their meetings, Savos members discussed up- coming events, planned future projects and inducted new members. Give me a B-Ft-A-N-D-O-N, What have you got? BRANDON!! That's what Pep Club, a new special interest club, spon- sored by Mrs. Danice Donaldson, did this past year for B.H.S.
