Rock Becomes Charitable The main goal of the thirty-seven mem- bers of Kiwanettes was to serve. With the help of their adviser, Mrs. Betty Salings, these girls combined their efforts in an attempt to benefit the school and com- munity. One of their many tasks was to work in the concession stands during home football and baseball games. Led by Diane Boston and Nancy White, the Kiwanettes held a Rock-a-Thon in Janu- ary, as a fund-raiser. Participating together, Key and Kiwanettes painted the Chamber of Com- merce windows during Homecoming week to promote community spirit. Together they built their homecoming float and combined their enthusiasm and energy to win first place for their skit in the Hop-n-Eagle pep rally.
