Putting their l-learts into lt! Wondering what her secret pal gave her, Lisa onilla opens her gift. Cupidettes have tun in the sun. Santa Lisa Diokelman, Cupidette's President, has Wendy Suffern looks on while Mattie Lang opens fun while passing out Christmas gifts. her C ristmas gift from her secret pal. lt's only a warning ticket, but next time Linda McCray will drive a little more slowly. 1980-81 was a very fulfilling year for Cupidettes. They started off the year right when they built a prize-winning float for the Homecoming Exhibition. The mem- bers participated in various service pro- jects such as the Supenrvalk to benefit the American Cancer Society, a visit to the V. A. Hospital at Christmas, the adopting of a family for the Salvation Army, painting the windows at Dairy lsle for Christmas, and many other deeds to benefit people, the school, and the community. The Fall Service Club Tea was a great success. Hosted by Cupidettes and Jayceettes, girls from all the service clubs were able to socialize and converse with each other. Under the leadership of Mrs. Ann Gib- son, 1981 was a great year for a spirited and dedicated group of girls. Cupidettes I 43
