als? -HlLL5BOROUGH- As the long lines of cars pulled into the parking lots before school, the only thing students concentrated on was the slow moving bumperto bumper ahead of them. lf you wanted to find out a little about the driver, you read his bumper sticker. Cars were stuck with flashy slogans and cute sayings that added personality, flare and a touch of class. You could always tell a cautious driver if his sticker was in bold face print. This kept curious drivers from getting too close to his rear. They ranged .,.. ., irfw--W Y -. .,... ...M --...,. Bumper To Bumper from religious to favorite radio stations and humerous to warning stickers. Some of us often thought about our gradesg some of us often thought about our looksg some of us often thought about good times and partiesg all of us constant- ly thought about our stomachs. What we put into our stomachs ranked very high in the order of important things in our lives, Tops on our list of preferences was pizza. CNO red-blood American teenager would have dared to say that he didnt especially care for pizza.j Lasagna. spaghetti, steak, and hamburgers also got our votes. In addition,we had weaknesses for Doritoes, M 81 lVl's. Cheetoes, and most other junk food delights that tided us over the between-meal-munchies. It was not true, however, that we would eat any- thing, We stayed away in droves from spinach, squash, and liver. We knew that later in life we might expand our tastes to include some of the delicacies our par- ents found so enchanting. For the time being, though, we treated our stomachs to the foods we loved the most- pizza, M 8t Ms, lasagna, hamburgers, Doritoes, cookies, t . , f ' Part of the fun of home ec cooking classes, for Diane Rose, is being ablelto sample some of the special munchies being turned out in the kitchen.
