This day was often called Senior Skip Day although there was no such legal holiday. As graduation neared many seniors became impatient for the long awaited end, and on that particular day many dared to take a break from the nor- mal routine. Even though they were warned that stiff penalties would follow if they were caught skipping, many brave students did not show up for school on that tempting day recognized only by seniors. 250 I Seniors On a day often called Senior Skip Day, Kellie Fitzpatrick finds herself alone in an empty classroom.
