Photography and building and re- pairing electronic components were some of Skipper Schmitt's hobbies. He served as Senior Class Vice- President and also was Keg Club Public Relations Director, AVOS Public Relations Director, Eagle Yearbook Sales Manager, and a three-year member of Orchestra. Af- ter earning a degree in electrical en- gineering, Skipper planned to go to work with his parents' company in Haiti selling plants and rubber. Asked what he would do it he had one year to accomplish anything in the world and be assured success, Skipper replied that he would de- velop a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. Planning to attend the University of South lorida for two years and then go to Florida State University and major in law enforcement was Student Governments Flecordlng Secretary, Donna Shuster, Donna was also in Girls' interact, Concert Choir, and PTSA, in addition to being very active in her church choir and in a group called Still Watersfi ln talking about her spare time, Don- na said, l sing, listen to the radio, build puzzles, paint, and work, work, work! ln my spare time l like to work on my films, go to movies, and sleep, Scot Specht said. Scott was a National Merit Finalist, the Historian of interact, and a member of N.H.S., Beta, and Student Government Ex- ecutive Board. Scott's own com- pany, Spectrum Films specialized in making feature films. Although he planned to continue his education at the University of Florida where he would major in architecture, Scotts first plan for immediately after gra- duation was to go to a party. Carefree Krystal Sanchez swings happily on a lazy afternoon. Steve McGovern cited flirting as his most enjoyable hobby and com- plimented his family by calling them fantastic , . . my dearest friends! At Brandon, Steve was National Honor Society President, Captain and Chaplain of the Varsity Football Team, and FCA President. He also was a member of lCC, Mu Alpha Theta, Latin Club, SHS, and the Assembly Review Committee. A let- terman in both football and track, Steve received the Bill Poast Award, and a first team All-Academic Coun- ty selection. With an eye toward a medical career, Steve would attend the University of Florida. The activities of Senior Class President, Thomas Preziosi, in- cluded Eagle Staff Honors Editor and Photo rapher, Student Govern- ment, NHS, Beta, Quill and Scroll, and Interact. To Thomas, laughter was the most important thing in life, and he said, The most unique thing about the Class of '81 was our ability to laugh at ourselves, Thomas hoped to attend a college in the Northeast, where he would major in advertising and minor in stage pro- duction. Among the organizations which kept Krystal Sanchez busy during her years at Brandon were SG Ex- ecutive Board, Kiwanettes, Beta, NHS, Senior Class Directors, Mu Alpha Theta, and Christian Fel- lowship Executive Board. In her spare time Krystal loved being at the beach and being with friends. Her most embarrassing mo- ment at school was having to stand up and sing Tiny Bubbles in front of all of Student Government. After graduation Klgstal would attend the University of outh Florida and ma- jor in medicine.
