the class of 81 unique is our craziness for new A favorite past time of Chris Love s is playing basketball. The school spirit of Mattie Lang was evident as she was extremely active in the Pep Club, B Club, Cupidettes, Drama Club, trackteam, Student Government, and lCC. Being President of S.A.C. also took up alot of Mattie's time, but she still had time to skate, sing, read, write poet , and attend classes at U.S.F. on glaturdays. Mattie's future consisted of pursuing a degree in law at Florida State University, get- ting married, and having kids. Before I die, I woul like to see more of this world I live in and meet more of its people, said Chris Love, a member of Mu Alpha Theta, N.H.S., Beta, Student Government, and Interact. In his spare time Chris enjoyed playing sports and being in the sun. Chris planned to go to U.S.F. after graduation and then go to University of Florida to study medicine. l would like to spend an entire year of taking a tour around the world. It would be great to find out how other people live, was Teri Mallonfs response when she was asked where she would definitely like to go in her lifetime. In addition to being Varsity Cheerleader, Terri was a member of Mu Alpha Theta, Junior Council, Student Govern- ment, Kiwanettes, FCA, and the 1980 Homecoming Court. She loved swimming, playing tennis, and going to the beach. She hoped to study computer engineering and business administration at the University of Florida after graduation. - Mattie Lang Always cheerful, Mattie Lang works the BHS switchboard. Carefree Krystal Sanchez swings happily on a lazy afternoon. Steve McGovern cited flirting as his most enjoyable hobby and com- plimented his family by calling them fantastic , . . my dearest friends! At Brandon, Steve was National Honor Society President, Captain and Chaplain of the Varsity Football Team, and FCA President. He also was a member of lCC, Mu Alpha Theta, Latin Club, SHS, and the Assembly Review Committee. A let- terman in both football and track, Steve received the Bill Poast Award, and a first team All-Academic Coun- ty selection. With an eye toward a medical career, Steve would attend the University of Florida. The activities of Senior Class President, Thomas Preziosi, in- cluded Eagle Staff Honors Editor and Photo rapher, Student Govern- ment, NHS, Beta, Quill and Scroll, and Interact. To Thomas, laughter was the most important thing in life, and he said, The most unique thing about the Class of '81 was our ability to laugh at ourselves, Thomas hoped to attend a college in the Northeast, where he would major in advertising and minor in stage pro- duction. Among the organizations which kept Krystal Sanchez busy during her years at Brandon were SG Ex- ecutive Board, Kiwanettes, Beta, NHS, Senior Class Directors, Mu Alpha Theta, and Christian Fel- lowship Executive Board. In her spare time Krystal loved being at the beach and being with friends. Her most embarrassing mo- ment at school was having to stand up and sing Tiny Bubbles in front of all of Student Government. After graduation Klgstal would attend the University of outh Florida and ma- jor in medicine.
