VTX, f ,w We've Got the Look Our moms and dads had lived through the poodle skirts, saddle oxfords, bouffant hairdos, and leather jackets. Some fashions and fads had disappeared fore- ver, while others - the venerable blue jeans, for example- had come full circle. We were as conscious as any previous generation of what was out and what was in . Blue jeans still prevailed at Brandon, but the most important were the ones with that special signature on the seat. For the student who wanted a more personal- ized outfit, there were many different jerseys in different colors, each express- ing the wearer's affiliations and prefer- ences. The cowboys also had their look at Brandon thanks to the movie Urban Cowboy . The preppy look was seen throughout our halls with sweaters around necks and top-siders abounding. Punk styles also had their say, with skinny ties and bright colors popping up every- where. More and more students became clothes conscious at Brandon High, thus proving that we had the look of the '8O's. Above: Mary Johnson and Thomas Pre- ziosi have the look in their Jordache jeans. Left: The many diverse styles are displayed by Brandon High students. Be- low: Capturing the essence of the West- ern look are aula Wade, Jonna Stack, Karen Williamson, and Randy Sipp. , . will Ho j
