Laura's superi play quickly moved her into the top position i the girls' team vacated at the end of 1980 Outstanding Female Athlete, Diane Now kowski. With consistently low scores, Ma McMeen held the number one post on th guys' team. His excellent play helped to p his team in the leading position in match aft match.
