This organizatio had been in existence since the beginning of Brandon l-ligh School. The squad, which was sponsored b Miss Patricia Fussell, had fifty-eight mem bers. The Head Majorette was Rosemar Pullinger and the Head Colorguard wa. Cami Bristow. The BHS squad held a car wash whicr was used to pay for uniforms and props a. well as flags forthe District Twiriing Con test. The squad, in company with Bran' don Jaycees, raised in excess o' 32,000.00 tor Muscular Dystrophy. Th money was presented by the seniors or the squad on television during the Labor Day Telethon. They also raised money fo the prevention and cure ot cancer. Th repainting ot the stadium every year wa another responsibility taken on by th squad.
