Nancy Savage Hall of Nancy Savage, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Savage, earned a place in the Hall of Fame by demonstrating all of the qualities and characteristics which epitomize Brandon High School. Her role as president of student body, which enabled her to be an integral part of student life and activity, and her in- volvement in community activity have earned her the high honor of being named to the Who’s Who Among American High School Students. During her high school career, Nancy has been active in the flag corps, the chorus and the high school quartet. She is a member of the Crossgates United Methodist Church. 22 — Hall of Fame Ken Ranger Conscientious, cooperative, and consis- tent. These terms are characteristic of Ken Ranager, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Ranager. During his four years at BHS, Ken has given of himself to such an extent that his fellow students have chosen him as class of- ficer, a favorite, a beau, most popular, and finally Mr. BHS. Throughout his high school career Ken has been a member of the foot- ball team, the FCA, and the Outdoor Club. The conscientious manner in which he went about his work, and his excellent spirit of cooperation have earned him a well deserved place in the Hall of Fame. He is an active member of the First Baptist Church in Brandon.

Miss BHS Leslie Conner Meeting each new challenge with a bright and eager spirit, Leslie Conner has forged her way to the top at BHS. Three short years ago Leslie was getting ac- quainted; however, by utilizing her many talents she has become a very important part of Brandon. Titles that followed her through each high school year were those of Class Beauty, Favorite, cheerleader, and Homecoming Maid, and this year she has received the honor of being named Homecoming Queen. In addition to beauty and personality, Leslie also has a gift for music, which she has put to use by singing in the chorus. She was a member of the girls’ sextet dur- ing her sophomore year and a part of the mixed quartet her sophomore and junior years. Leslie’s leadership and participation has shown in her active involvement with the Math Club, Beta Club, Outdoors Club, track, basketball, and Student Council. This year she was elected vice-president of the Student Council and Secretary of her class. She has also been selected to the Who’s Who Among American High School Students. Leslie attends First Baptist Church in Brandon.

Amy Watson From freshman class secretary to annual staff editor, from freshman Student Council represen- tative to president of the Political Awareness Club, from a freshman flute player to the best dressed in Who's Who typifies the steady growth and pro- gress of Amy Watson, daughter of Mrs. Susan Watson. Diversification is the one word that best describes this young lady who has worn many hats during her high school career. Her active par- ticipation in the Bible Club, the Speech Club plus high academic achievement, and community ac- tivity have earned her the distinction of being named to Who’s Who Among American High School Students. In addition to her many school activities, Amy is involved in a number of church and community programs. She attends the First Baptist Church in Brandon. Fame Lacey Ashley Versatile Lacey Ashley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ashley, brings a long list of ac- complishments to the Hall of Fame. Her abili- ty in the fields of music, cheerleading, track, softball, club and student government par- ticipation, and her academic achievement are evidence of the versatility of this multi- talented senior. Always popular among her fellow students, Lacey has been selected a class beauty, homecoming maid, class favorite, and most likely to succeed. During her senior year she was chosen to be a Gayfer Girl. Her school and community in- volvement has earned her a place in Who’s Who Among American High School Students. Lacey attends the First Baptist Church in Brandon where she is active in music and youth programs. Hall of Fame — 23
