Recognizing the importance of fac- ulty guidance and interest for student activities, NNC. the Stall of the 1960 Brainonian, dedicate our yearbook to F. XY. Rosel. After thirty-nine inspiring years of devoted service to both the students and faculty, Sir. Rosel retired from XV.H.S. He graduated from Nioorhead State College and did post graduate work at Dunwoody Institute, Stout Institute, and the University of Minnesota. Mr. Rosel started teaching in Brain- erd in September 1921, and since that time has been teaching industrial arts and architectural drawing. X , , Dedication -, ,, , , 0 V A A Y 'QL 1'- AL... . 'iw I J 1 li- . . In addition to teaching, Mr. Rosel exhibited outstand- ing leadership by coaching basketball, football, and base- ball at YYashington High. In recent years he has supervised the stage crew. He has also enjoyed woodworking and gardening as hobbies. He has always shown interest in his students-their aca- demic work as well as their extra-curricular activities. His outstanding devotion to duty was proved by only a half day of absence during his thirty-nine years of teach- ing. Because of the qualities he has displayed so actively over the past years, we select F. IV. Rosel as our emblem bearer for 1960.
