Hey all you Bomber fans, stand up and clap your hands for the 1980-1981 cheerleading Bandits. The Bandits stole the attention of the crowd with their energetic cheers and side-lines. The Bandits held numerous pepfests to fire up the teams of football, volleyball, Wrestling and basketball. The choir cowhands were practicing under the direction of their new trail boss, Mr. Nelson. The choir was not the best they could be, because they were all Dreaming of a White Christmas with Silver Bells. Mr. Nelson didn't know what to do. He couldn't get the cowhands to perform like they should. He didn't want to call off the round-up. It was sixth hour and the choir was dreaming of a Winter Wonderland , unlike usual there was no snow. Mr. Nelson opened the outside door and said, Look gang, it's going to be a 'White Christmas' after all. Suddenly, the choir boomed out a loud chorus! It was the most beautiful thing Mr. Nelson had ever heard. From then on, the Howling Coyotes practiced and practiced for their spring concert. The weather had changed and they were heard Singing in the Rain. But the April Showers didn't stop them, for their spring concert turned out fantastic and everyone was happy for they had a good year. Under the direction of Miss Peterson, they warmed up half time with their bright smiles and dances. Every Tuesday they were seen practicing in the town hall of Westview. The Pomers were not only seen at football and basketball games, but they also helped the herds prepare for the big games by dancing at pepfests. Hats off to the Pomers. Cheerleaders, Pomers 35
