FRESHMEN OFFICERS The T955 Freshman Class is made up of I5 boys and 27 girls. At the beginning ot the school year eacl section chose their otticers. They are as follows: President, Patricia Leath- ers, Vice-President, Sandra Strick- Secretary, Georgia Little, Treasurer, Judy Riley, President, Harold Hill, Vice-President, John Harris, Secreta- ry, Saundra Stephens, Treasurer, Clyde Ferguson. In order to make us feel at home during our first year in high school the Seniors hon- ored us with an initiation week. Everyone was a good sport and we thoroughly entoyed ourselves during that week. Halloween queens were chosen from our homerooms. They were Saundra Stephens and Martha Brinkley. We feel that our Freshman year will always exist in our minds as one ofthe most exciting years in our high school careers. J , BUILDING BETTER INDIVIDUALS THROUGH INSTRUCTION AND CLASS ACTIVITIES These people help build us into better individuals and citizens by attending to their everyday task without failure. Mrs. Hodnett, the librarian, and Mrs. Goodwin, the school secretary, cheerfully and willingly serve the school and stu- dents . . . Mr. Best advises our Bus Drivers, who transport stu- dents solely to and from school. . . These ladies willingly pre- pare and serve our lunches, which help to build our bodies strong and healthy . . . Then we enter our classes and activi- ties. For example our Office Practice, under the direction of Mrs. Newton, helps build skill and prepare us for jobs in the lutufe . . , Our Home Economics class teaches us to be better homemakers . . .
