OFFICERS Class Officers: Seated, center, is Class President, Victor Lynn. Circled behind the Pres- ident, left to right: Fay Rivenbork and .loyce Queen, Class Treasurers, Otis Bradley, Vice-President, and Barbara Eddins, Secretary. Class Motto: What we are to be, we are now becoming Colors: Light blue and white. Flower: Blue Carnation. Song: Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Oh! I'm a Junior. That's what each of us said as we entered school in the tall of 1953. Little did we know the experiences to follow throughout the year. We had, for ten years, looked forward to this day when we would be iuniors, but we had never anticipated the thrill it would really be . . . This year each of us has gained so many happy memories. There was our Junior Play, Ann, of Green Gables. . . . Oh, how we all remember how we enioyed the Senior boys so-called transportation committee, and late play practices. Ah, yes, and selling ads for the back at our programs. Thaf was lun as well as very beneficial to the class. Then came our magazine sale, those ice capade tickets, certainly helped our top best sellers spend an enioyable evening. Better, however, than that was the money our class earned which helped us greatly. More Sales! . . . It you had visited the home ol any ot our Juniors or come to school you would have been practically lorced to buy a 4Oc box ot candy-if not two or three boxes. We finally reached our goal of selling 1,000 boxes and greeted the S100 profit. Ah, but at last the big event came-our .lunior-Senior Banquet. The fun we shared with our fellow classmates made us feel good. We realize our work has not been in vain, for the Seniors enioyed themselves. Each one of us gained much this year to enrich our lives. This is certainly one year we will remember.
