EIQQQQ WW QQQQQQQQEQQQ QQ QfCQ'f5E33Q5?i THE NUGGET CLASS HISTORY S THE FRESHMAN Class of '54, We entered through Bragtowns open door, We were proud to be in high school, then, Forgetting that We were truly quite green Then came along our Sophomore year, The second great step in our high school career, When more serious things claimed attention from all Such as Glee Club, dramatics, and basketball. And, 'ere we knew it, We were juniors, who Were one step nearer the goal in view. Commercial Club, Beta Club, carnival, yes, And banquet and dance gave us small time to rest. Then, at last we were Seniors, the day had come! The goal we sought would soon be won. Yet, we found there were so many things to do, Rings, plays, and annual-and studies, too! But, ah! SECTION I Article I-To Bragtown School-our undying remembrance. Article 2-To the Faculty-a student body that doesn't need demerits. Article 5-To Mr. Ashe-a Senior Class that doesn't want an expensive annual. Article 4-To Mrs. Fallow-continued success as Senior Class teacher. Article 5-To Mrs. Kirkpatrick-a bigger and better Home Economics Club. Article 6-To Miss Wegener-more cooperation in her next operetta. Article 7-To Mr. Harris-a rubber ball for playful students. Article 8-To Miss Laws-pupils who will not break out window lights. Article 9-To Mr. Tarrall-a girls, basketball team that can win out in tournaments. Article 10-To Miss Page-Public Speaking Club members who will come to all meetings. Article ll-To Mr. Bowden-a geometry class that wants to learn geometry and will. Article 12-To Mr. Kennedy-less disturbance in the hall during class-time. Article I3-To our Parents-our love and gratitude for their sacrificial devotion. Article 14-To Mr. Paschall-pupils who will keep the windows closed on cold days. SECTION II Article I-To the juniors-as much enjoyment during your Senior year as we have had in ours. Article 2-To the Sophomores-pleasant thoughts for your junior year. Article 5-To the Freshmen-good ideas for the initiation of next year's Freshmen. Article 4-To the Commercial Club-a bigger and better picture in future annuals. SECTION III Article I-We, the Seniors, also find that we have individual possessions to leave to I, Herman members of the Junior Class. Pearce, do will my good opinion of myself to Fred Sorrell. I, Alma Clark, do will my dimples to Lucille Nash. I, Richard Davis, do will my French vocabulary to Beverly Belvin. I, Madge Proctor, do will my baby ways to Ruth Thompson. I, Caureal Fogleman, do will my sweet disposition to Catherine Holloway. I, Bruce Harper, do will my graceful walk to Guy Murray. We, Sally Dunnagan and Kathryne Durham, do will our quietness to Sally Garrard and Gladys Lunsford. I, Edna Lance, do will my group of admirers to jean Stirewalt. I, Bernice Umstead, do will my easy-going ways to Tommy Carrington. I, B. Nash, do will my title of Romeo to Bob Timberlake.
