MISS NELL ELDER MISS ELIZABETH HEAVENEI » s (Dedication ✓ We, the staff of the 1961 EAGLET, take pride in dedicating this edition of the Braggadocio High School Yearbook to our two new teachers from Mississippi; Miss Elder and Miss Heavener. Miss Nell Elder is originally from Blue Mountain, Mississippi. She graduated from Palmer High School in Ripley in 1956. She continued her education and graduated in May of 1960 with a B.S. Degree from Blue Mountain College in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. At Braggadocio High School this year, she has served as head of the Commercial Department, Advisor to the yearbook staff, and Eighth Grade sponsor. Miss Elizabeth Heavener also comes to us from Blue Mountain, Mississippi, where she graduated from Palmer High School in 1957. In May of 1960 she graduated from Blue Mountain College with a B.A. Degree. Miss Heavener has served at Braggadocio High School this year as head of the English Department, Beta Club Sponsor, Seventh Grade Sponsor, and Director of the Senior play. We are proud of the efficient manner in which Miss Heavener and Miss Elder have served on the faculty in this, their first year of experience as high school instructors.
