Miss Nell Elder is originally from Blue Mountain, Mississippi. She graduated from Palmer High School in Ripley in 1956. She continued her education and graduated in May of 1960 with a B.S. Degree from Blue Mountain College in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. At Braggadocio High School this year, she has served as head of the Commercial Department, Advisor to the yearbook staff, and Eighth Grade sponsor. Miss Elizabeth Heavener also comes to us from Blue Mountain, Mississippi, where she graduated from Palmer High School in 1957. In May of 1960 she graduated from Blue Mountain College with a B.A. Degree. Miss Heavener has served at Braggadocio High School this year as head of the English Department, Beta Club Sponsor, Seventh Grade Sponsor, and Director of the Senior play. We are proud of the efficient manner in which Miss Heavener and Miss Elder have served on the faculty in this, their first year of experience as high school instructors. Of this number. 9 are graduating from Braggadocio High School this May. JUDY COLE, RUSSELL DUDLEY, CAMILLE GIBBS, GLENDA HAYES, WANDA HENRY, DIANE INMAN, JANIE PRITCHARD, SONNY REEVES, MARY JANE WATKINS, and VAN WATKINS are now completing 12 years of schooling at Braggadocio. Besides these students, others have come and gone from our class membership. MARIAN FREDERICK came to us in the 6th Grade. CHARLES LYNN transferred from Deering in the 6th Grade. RANDALL TERRELL came to Braggy in the 3rd Grade. MARGARETT RUSSELL started in the 1st, left in the 4th, came back in the 9th, left again in the 10th, came back in the 11th and then stayed through the 12th. MAX WALLACE has attended all of his school years at Braggy. He became a member of our class in the 11th Grade. SAMMY WALLACE came to us in the 3rd Grade. LORETTA WARD started to Braggy in the 5th Grade, left in the 8th, and came back in the 9th. CARLA RISENER transferred from Deering in the 9th Grade. When we came to the High School Building in 1955, there were 20 members of our Seventh Grade Class. Upon graduation from the Eighth Grade we had 30 mem- bers. Our enrollment in our first year in High School was 31, and there are now 18 Seniors. Mr. George Williams was our class Sponsor in the 7th-10th Grades. Mrs. Sam Wallace became our Class Sponsor in the 11th Grade. Mrs. Earl M. Gibbs was room- Mother 7th-10th Grades. Mrs. Gladys Tilmon and Mrs. Floyd Henry have served as room-Mothers 7th-12th Grades. Mrs. Wallace was room-Mother before she became sponsor (7th-10th Gr.). In May of 1960, we gave the Class of 1960 a Banquet at the Cotton Boll Hotel.
