( ass JJropfiecij 16 On January 1, 1970, Mrs. Carrie Speer had a reunion in her home for her last graduation class, the Class of 1960. She had recently had her home completely redecorated by those very success- ful interior decorators. Bobby Berry, J. L. Briggs, Speedy Curtis, and Jimmy Cobb, who are now owners of the biggest interior decorating company in Missouri. Entertainment was provided by the great singing stars Janie Davis, Phyllis Ford, and Earline Stanfill, who have replaced the McGuire Sisters on television, and Adonis Hinchey, our famous comedian, who is currently working with Red Skeleton on his weekly show. The first arrivals were Don Tilmon and Caleb Davis. Caleb, a very successful Veterinarian, is presently working for Don, the biggest farmer in Missouri. Don and Cale have been the best of friends since childhood. Anna Belle Bryant, the former Anna Belle DeBakey, and Pauline Schrimsher, the former Pau- line Maxwell, arrived next. They still live in Braggy, and are doing a wonderful job raising their families. Jerry Davis and Ed Huffman were the next arrivals. They are at present working on project 16383 XAZ, which is, as everyone knows, a rocket ship to get a man on Mars. Arriving with them were those two brave Air Force Test Pilots, Harold McLemore and Bobby Joe Rhoades. They have volunteered to fly the rocket ship Ed and Jerry are building. Next came Donna Pickens, Claudia Landrum, Evelyn Pullam, and Betty James. Donna, Claudia and Evelyn are now living in Memphis. All three have finished secretarial courses and have jobs working as Betty James’s private secretaries. Betty is head of International Models, Inc. Mary Ann Darnell, Luan Maxwell, and Brenda Adams floated down to Braggy for the reunion. Yes, we said floated. You see, Mary is Social Director, Brenda is Hair Stylist, and Luan is in charge of all telegrams on, The Ocean King.” Next arrivals were Larry Lytle, Larry Yarbrough, and Curtis Baker. They are joint-owners in the most famous night club in Las Vegas. Larry Lytle is in complete charge of the gambling tables while Larry Yarbrough and Curtis Baker take care of the Bar. Zoom! Arriving just on time are the former Beverlyn Powell and Mary James. Sporting one of their sports cars. As you know their husbands are partners in a Sports Car Company. Boy! ! What a ball Beverlyn and Mary have with all those cars. All went well at the reunion and everyone had a wonderful time. Mrs. Speer promised to hold another reunion in 1980.
