(?1 Z44 'ftytetOKCf, There were 84 beginners enrolled in the First Grade of Braggadocio Grade School in 1946. Mrs. Delilah Webb was our teacher. Of that number nine are graduating this year. They are: Charles Grinstead, Earl Grigory, Joe Dudley, Peggye Strode, Dave Cranford, Julia Scott, Carl Watkins, Roberta Waldrop, and Larry Inman. Our very first addition who is still with us, is James Hamlett who came to Braggado- cio the second quarter of the first grade. He came from Dogwood, Missouri. The next additions to our class were Dorothy Tipton from Chapel, Evelyn Cecil from St. Eustachia Catholic School at Portageville, Delorise Darnell from Caruthersville, James Colbert from Speer School, and James Paul Mulcahy from Hayti. These were added in the third grade. In our eighth year, Wanda Ward came from Cooler. Then Gus Curtis enrolled in the ninth year. He came from Canady Switch. In our Sophomore year we had three transfer students. They were Diana Hollomon from Caruthersville, Gail Cobb from Steele, and Hellen Cox from Hornersville. In our Junior year Doyle Briggs came from Steele, and Lou James from Hayti. Our most recent newcomer is Reba Risener from Deering. She entered her Senior year at Braggadocio. Because of her outstanding record she was able to finish her high school education at the end of the first semester. She returned to graduate with the class on May 16, 1958. Honorable mention is Earl Grigory who has not missed a day of school in his 12 years of enrollment. In 1955, thirty-eight pupils entered the Freshman class. Mr. Bill Powell was our sponsor through the entire four years of high school. On April 27, 1957, we gave the Seniors of 1956-57 a banquet held in the school lunch room. Several who attended remarked that it was one of the best they had ever seen. After the banquet, we gave a Junior-Senior party at the American Legion Hut at Caruthersville. We left the campus on our senior trip the third week of April. That was an enjoyable tour that we will never forget. FLOWERS Pink Carnation COLORS White and Pink Home Room Mothers MRS.
