Bach of the four schools entered four girls. Braggadocio en- tered Doris Ann Riggs—Presnman, Mary Tilmon—Sophomore, Dewanda Pulbrlght Junior, and Betty Ann Grinstead—Senior. Betty Ann became a Teen Fashion Board member when Miss Huffman,her Home Economics teacher nominated her for this honor. Excellence in sewing and clothing, leadership, personality and appearance were prime requisites for nomination. McCall's provides each with a membership card, a handsome hand- lettered certificate suitaole for framing, a full-year’s subscription to McCall's School Stylist,a gift McCall's pattern of the board members' choice and periodical information on new trends in faorics and sewing. This past year our Home Economics classes have been more active in outside events, such as the exhibit we planned with the help of Hornersville for the Missouri exhibit at the Memphis Fair. Fay© Marshall is shown holding a picture which appeared in the Missouri School paper of the exhibit. The exhibit was Food for Four for A Week. It wts set uo on a round revolving stand of four shelves. On eacn shelf there were models of food. On the top shelf a beautiful arrangement in a horn of plenty by Miss Huffman.
