They are responsible for the final decision in all hiring and firing of staff members. Their final decision results in all the rules that are used to make our school run better. One area that takes up a majority of their time is the financial aspect. Each month they must review and pay all bills acquired by the district. Stretching that small amount of money is often a frustrating and hard task to handle. However, by putting in the needed time on various tasks, the board helps to make our school run as smoothly as it can. 12 1988 BULLDOG Featured in top group photo from (L. to R.): Superbull Tina Mannen, tri-captain Jim Siefke and Jake Aakre, Dan Campbell, Dustin Dugan, tri-captain Mike Pearson, and Coach Tranmer. We departed from Brady early Sunday morning. It was a long and exasperating nine hours of riding on that bumpy bus. We finally arrived in Edmonton early that evening. After everyone got settled we had dinner then headed to the mall just to look around. A couple hours later we decided to go to a movie. The next day we headed back tu the mall for a fun filled day at Fantasy Land. Some of the things we did included riding the rollercoaster, the bumper cars, and running through the lazer maze. The evening was coming to an end so we rented sane movies and headed back to the motel. The next morning we agreed to spend at Water World. Riding slides like the cork screw or swimning in the giant wave pool. Everyone had a great time whatever they did. That evening we went out to dinner at Tony Roma’s, in the mall. After dinner we headed back to the motel to finish watching the movies we rented. The next day started early as we loaded everything and left about 6:15. On our way back the bus broke ±wn and we were stranded on the highway for an hour. Mr. O’Dell finally found help and the bus was fixed within three hours. We gpt back on the road and arrived in Brady around 10:00. CXir fun filled trip was over. Now we had to think about finishing the annual and other things. We will never forget the gpod times and the menories we had together. 54 WEST EDMONTON MALL SENIORS GRADUATE WITH The seniors big day was held in the Brady High School gymnasium at 2:00 p.m. on May 21, 1989.
