PLAY DAY The Sunburst Play Day was held on May 15. Grades K-8 participated in many different events on this rainy day. This year the four S.A.E. members went along to help out during the bus trip and getting the younger kids to their events. 26

The 1987 Junior High Track Team made great improvements throughout the year and put forth great effort during their season. They all have great potential and their continuing efforts will be rewarding for them in the future. 25

Top L.: Ray and Jeremy attempt to put their skis on to begin a day of traveling down the slopes at Showdown. Top R. : Mike asks a few of the girls which way to the slopes as Jenna watches for unsuspected skiers. Middle: Skipper and Beau are off to a slow start, but will soon pick up speed as they learn the ropes of skiing. Bottom: A group of Brady elementary and Jr. High kids seem to have found something of interest while waiting for their instructor. The scheduled ski trips were set for February 27 and March 27, but due to the alterations in temperature the skiers were kept on edge because oftheicyslopes. 27
