H O M E C O M On Slept. 18, Brady's Homecoming was victorious as they defeated the Win- nifred Red Raiders 32 to 8. The Wednesday preceding the game brought Bulldog fans together to enjoy a bonfire. During the bonfire, speeches were given by Coach Tranmer and Co-Cap- tains Barry Malone and James Klein- sasser. James and Barry also threw the traditional dummy into the fire.

The following ath- letes were chosen for awards for their outstanding season. Barry - M.V.P.; Conference honors - 2nd team Safety and Honora- ble Mention Running Back. Brian - Most Inspirational. Dan fe 1 - Golden Helmet. This year's football team was a pleasure for my- self and Coach Myers to work with. We had nine outstanding young men who were dedicated to our program along with an excellent manager, Tr Bolin ger. We had a very successful season which was fun for everyone in the program. We are looking forward to next season and will miss this past season's seniors. I would like to thank Coach Myers and Mr. O'Dell for their time and efforts which helped make this past season such an enjoy- able one. Coach Tranmer 19

Another event that took place at the bonfire was the crowning of the King Queen. Last year's Queen, Angel Zimmerman, crowned Sue Thompson, and last year's King, Barry Malone crowned James Klein- sasser as this year's royalty. The class candidates were—Seniors-Karen Diedrich Tom Pearson, Juniors-Sue Thompson James Klein- sasser, Sophmores-Wyetta Bolinger Rob Burdick, and Freshmen-Tracy Ougan Travis Bolinger. The week preceding the victorious football game showed the students of Brady High supporting their team with high spirits during Spirit Days. Every- one joined in the fun by dressing according to the days. Some of the dress codes were hat grub, sock stuff 'em, 50's Day, and Color Code Day where each grade wore a different color.
