Class Prophecy It has been a long time since the class of 1982 has last seen each other, ten years to be exact. Julie Carlbom, senior class secretary, is planning a ten-year reunion and is trying to locate her other two classmates. On her lunch break at the hospital, Julie placed her first call. It was to Cory Gaines, the only boy in her class. He was located somewhere in the Himalaya Mountains. It seems after Cory graduated with high honors from the Vo-Tech Center in Great Falls, he was discovered by a world famous scientist. Cory is now working with him on a secret project. He would not tell us what this project was, but he told us that it would make him famous. Good luck on your project Cory, and hope to see you at the reunion. Julie had a little difficulty finding Glenda Arps, until it was reported that she was seen in the Bob Marshall Wilderness in Montana. Julie, knowing that there were no telephones in tne Wilderness, decided that she would have to take a two-day vacation from Dallas General Hospital and find Glenda herself. Julie did, however, have to wait until she got caught up in her work, three operations and two complete blood transfusions to perform, not to mention three dates with a certain young doctor. Finally Julie reached Montana and with three tour guides, hiked back into the Bob Marshall where Glenda was last seen. Julie found Glenda and after talking to her, she learned that Glenda had graduated from National College in Rapid City, South Dakota, with a B.S. degree. After graduation from college, Glenda decided that she didn’t like large crowds of people. That’s why she went back to the Wilderness. Glenda is happy though, she has her own animal refuge and vet clinic. She also runs a still on the side. Before Julie left, Glenda mentioned that she was ready to go back to school for her M.R.S. degree. She is also planning to ride out to our reunion, if her horses are up to it. Julie returned back to Dallas just in time to make a dinner date with the Chief-of-Staff to discuss the possibility of adding another wing to the Hospital. All seems well with the Class of 1982. -ii-
