The Histoiy of the Class of 1979 In the fall of 1979, 14 eager youngsters came to Brady for their first day of school. They were Elaine Armstrong, Clark Baumann, Ronnie Campbell, Kelly Coughlin, Patti Dunn, Cindy Hemry, Gary Holm, Karla Kauk, Neil McOmber, April Olson, Del Styren, Mark Thompson, Leif Tokerud and Mark Tronson. These 14 advanced on to second grade and stayed through the third grade with the addition of Kenneth Neil. In fourth grade we lost Ken; we lost Leif Tokerud, Elaine Armstrong, and Ronnie Campbell. We gained five new class members: Lyle Arps, Donna Gilpin, Jack Hylton, John Mendenhall and April Rubens. Lyle and April stayed with us, but Donna, Jack and John left. Rick Molenda joined us for fifth grade and Gary Holm stayed back. Three students joined us in sixth grade: Ron Campbell came back, Tim Rossmiller and Debbie Hamma came from the Knees area. In the seventh grade, we gained five new students: Joy and Jody Carlbom, Jack Reimer, Jeff Gordon, and Dave Zigan. We gained and lost Carl Chewning in the seventh grade. We also lost Rick Molenda and Jeff Gordon; we gained Lin Soholt in the eighth grade. Our Freshman Class grew as we added two new students and one old one. Our new students were Mae Speed, and Tracey Young. Rick Molenda returned and April Olson departed our company. We lost Kelly Coughlin, Tracey Young, and Mae Speed in our Sophomore year. Karla Kauk and Mark Tronson left us during our Junior year. Kelly Coughlin and April Olson came back to our fold for our Senior year. They joined 14 other Seniors, who will graduate on May 21, 1979. 9
