PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE On behalf of the Class of 1976 I have been honored by my classmates to present their feelings on this special occasion. I am sure that we all, deep in our hearts, regret the thought of saying farewell to our high school days forever, but yet we are thrilled at the thought of completing them. Graduation is traditionally a time for reminiscing and expressing our gratitude. But each of us has our own special memories and we each will express them in our own way. We can best express our appreciation by living in a way that we will make those who have helped us, proud of being a part they played in our success. To our parents we thank you for all the help you have given us. You have taught us the basics of life: trust, honesty, and the most important ingredient, how to love. For without your love we wouldn t have made it this far. We now portray an image of you, and we hope this image makes your heart proud and happy. To our teachers who have given us their encourgement, advice, and most of all their time, we thank you for your guidance through our school years. And to our friends, we shall never forget you. For you have given us a friendship that will last in our hearts forever. The present time finds us here, about to go forth on our journey. A journey that will last a life- time and will be influenced by the decisions we make now. We begin that journey by taking the first step. It reminds me of a song I once heard and the words said, our time has come, all our dreams are on their way. Now we go forth on our journey, each seeking a different path to follow, but each just as eager to go forth. For the class of 1976, I bid you farewell. 8
