CLASS HISTORY 74 Marily It all began way back in September of 1962, a small group of fourteen youngsters appeared mysteriously at the doorway of Brady Public School. They were all scared up fancy for their first day of school. Five of these youngsters survived through twelve years of learning together. Those students are: Jim Archer, Mark Donnell, Steve Perry, Renee Sangray, and Carol Wiest. There were others, of course, not with the class any longer, who are Dewey Deardoff, Richard Hodgson, Arlene Johnson, Audrey Johnson, Michael O'Brian, James Rhorer, Grace Wood, Thomas Worsley, and Valori Zimbelman. From the second grade to the sixth grade, the class of 74 stayed about the same. During this time we lost Arlene and Audrey Johnson, James Rhorer, Grace Woods, Thomas Worseley in the second grade and only gained Bob Copenhaver. In the third, we lost Valori Zimbelman and gained Donald Pinion. In the fourth grade, we lost Dick Hodgson and gained Deborah Cummings. In the fifth and sixth grades, we lost Deborah Cummings and Michael O'Brian, and gained Karla Dory, Tom Hastings, Bill McLean, Rickie Olson and Karen Robinson. In the seventh grade we only lost one, which was Rickie Olson, and we gained six which were: Kelly Bishop, Martin Morley, Keith Petersen, Arlyn Seidler, David Sletthehogh, and Valori Zimbelman came back. The eighth grade, we lost two, who were Dewey Deardoff and David Slettehogh, but we gained two also, which were Linda Dyrud and Rocky Glaze. In the fall of 1970, the class again appeared at the doorway, only this time at the other end of Brady School, to good Ole Brady High. Just in time for initiation was Mariaann Hylon and also an old classmate, Debbie Cummings. Our Sophmore year saw us lose three, which were, Debbie Cummings, Mariann Hylton, and Martin Morley, and we gained one which was Becky Palo. Moving closer to that magic year of 1974, two additions and two subtractions were made. Mike Jung and Laura McClenahan made up for the loss of Becky Palo, and Valori Zimbelman. Now comes the great year of 1974, for the seniors anyway. We lost Rocky Glaze and Laura McClenahan and we gained Marilyn Larson. As graduation approaches, the seniors are looking forward to the future. Renee Steve Carol Arlyn
