■ 1 Gon enh Organizations Coen is Sports Glasses Seniors 7acuity and dldm inis {ration Clem entary Joreworcf School contributes to the student's life from three different angles. These are the ed- ucational, social, and athletic angles. First and foremost in this contributionis education. If a student does not accept and use this vital part of school, he is sometimes deprived of the other two angles. Education pre- pares his mind for the hurdles he will come across in the future. The social contribution to the student's life guides him in public mannerisms and helps him to develop an interest in his fellow companions. The social aspect prepares him with habits which will profit him during all his remaining years. The athletic angle will help him develop a sense of individuality as well as teach him that all humanity must work together to win in the never-ending game of life. This con- tribution will prepare his body for any crisis he may meet in his lifetime. Yes. each angle is important in itself, but they must join with each other to allow the student to derive the most from his ever-important school years. 4 Qrcjaniz ai io ns Back row: Mick Holm, President; Jim Burdick, Vice-President; Margie Britton; Mr. Calvin Richwine, Advisor; Twila Bishop, Secretary-Treasurer; Ron Gollehon; Lee Otness. As our high school career comes to a close, there is a twinge of regret in every one of us at the thought of bidding farewell to our high school days, but there is also a feeling of excitement, the expectations of new responsibil- ities and opportunities to come. Each of us looks forward to our next step in life, not in uncertainty, but with confidence that the last 12 years at B. H. S. has given us. It is said that a building is only as strong as its foundation; and with the education we've received here. I'm sure we've been given the best foundation possible. On behalf of the class and myself, I would like to thank our parents, teachers, and the community. Words are not enough to express our gratitude for all the help you’ve given us; but we will strive, each in our own field to build a successful life on the foundation you've given. Thank you again and farewell. 55 fPorirayalof flfie Daily Routine Of Otucfenis Jlnd How's bookkeeping Dave Sawyer? In periods of rapid change, individuals must adjust con- stantly to a changing environment. Since we cannot predict with certainty the trends that these changes will take, students with a rich background of learning will be better able to meet the challenge.
