Burleigh Wikstrom, Thomas Goodrich, Lee Otness and Ronald Gollehon. accompanied by Mrs. Leys, attended the State’s first Model United Nations, which was May 19-21 at Missoula. In a district spelling bee in Havre, Sandra Tokerud won first place and Rich- ard Sawyer placed seventh. Sandra also par- ticipated in the state spelling bee. Eighth grade students took part in an essay contest entitled, ‘Mv Mag.” Winners were: Lila Lindsey, first, Leon Lenz, second; and not pictured, Deanne Banka, third. Mrs. Archer presents awards to winners.
