A large part of the class participated in band and chorus. Many of the boys did a fine job on the football, basketball, and track teams. All of the girls contrib- uted to Pep Club. Probably the most remembered event of the year was initiation where the freshmen were made to wear funny costumes such as dresses, diapers, swimming suits, and gunny sacks. The first event of the Soph- omore year was Freshman Initiation. The class members had fun adorning the Freshmen in costumes covered with eggs and lipstick, The Sophomore Class also won the magazine sales again this year, adding S27 1 to their class fund, and winning the privilege of a day off from school.
