7 ie 75 u Joy V cf tecf by Mr. Calvin Richwine, Advisor Trudi Bish op Linda Hilliard Donna Stinson (Co-editor) Daniel McLean Vernice Schlepp Lauraine Miller Linda Mamma Kathy Katin (Co-editor) Jerry Sawyer Linda Wikstrom David Perry Throughout their years of service to the Brady School, Mr. Paulsen and Mr. Sangray have cheerfully and conscientiously maintained the superb condition of the school. They are the “men behind the scenes” who are regularly called to a wide variety of emergencies. But the students and faculty regard these two custodians as their smiling friends who exceed their duties to make the loads of others lighter. No one can ever thank our custodians enough, but with sincere gratitude, we, the Class of 1966, will start by dedicating this Bulldog to Bert Paulsen and Richard Sangray. Education is one of the most important parts of our lives. A good education is nece sary if we are to become well-informed citizens of today; the leaders of tomorro . The Senior Class of 1966 is the first class to have spent over half its twelve years of education in the new school building. We are proud of this distinction and are taking advantage of it by conducting a special tour of the school. With our mascot, Brutus the Bulldog, as guide we would like everyone to take a tour through the various rooms of Brady High School. We hope that through our efforts we may be able to look at our annual and recollect some of the happiest days of our lives. 7a6 e of ( on tents Iaminisiraiion Jacu ty {Seniors ( In derc assmen V e men tary 7lt i etics Oryan if at ion s 71 cade in ics Administration SuperintencfenPs JJlessacje JOHN O’MALLEY Superintendent RKBA IX)NNELL Clerk RAYMOND DYER Chairman cSc joo Jioarcf cS r oes to ( fp a ' ac e c S c i o o TOM BANKA AROYLE BIS HOE BIRDEEN OTNESS LEONARD SCHLEPP c S ucfen C ounci A cfs in clcAoo Jmprooement Secretary, I he Student Council of 1965-66 sponsored many activities throughout the year to help improve the school. Our high school studies have opened our minds to the excitement in the world around us. They have set our imagination whirling with ideas of w hat there may yet be to discover and develop. We hear about minute measurements, exact calculations, speed, the use of computer machines and scientific progress. With each change in the world there is also a challenge, a challenge which each of us must accept in the area we offer the greatest talent. 'Then we can help to discover the new dimensions to our world. Our high school education will be the background for our future. We as seniors are proud of the education received at Brady High School. We know that we can look forward to the future with confidence. Graduation f rom high school is merely the beginning of a new phase of life. We could not meet the challenge of tomorrow if it were not for the guidance we have received throughout our schooling. For this guidance we owe many thanks to our parents, our teachers, the school board and to every citizen of the community, but I feel our actions will speak louder than words. We can best express our appreciation by living in such a way that we will make those who have helped us proud of the part they played in our success. Dan Nlcl ean Of the 21 Freshmen entering Brady High as the Class of 1966, eight had been togeth- er since the beginning of the first grade. Bob Rossmiller, Suzy Curtis, and James Larson. Lauraine Miller and 'Frudi Bishop came from the elementary Faris School; and Jerrv Sawver, Dan McLean, Robert Friesen, Kathv Kaun and Linda Mamma traveled to Brady after graduating from the eighth grade at the Knees School. During the Freshman year, new students joining the class were John Timm, Gary Debates, and Larry Wehr. Robert Friesen and Bob Rossmiller left the class to enroll in other schools. The most remembered ev ent of that year was initiation, a day of dressing in diapers, swimsuits, and old dresses, and drinking sour milk. The Sophomore Class increased to twenty-four students with the addition of Wanda Brandell. Phis class won the Peanut King and Queen Contest by selling the most peanuts for the March of Dimes. Soon after the class began its junior year, Lois Strandberg transferred from Billings. Dora Hahn spent part of the year at Brady after transferring from Ronan. I'his Junior Class honored the Seniors at the Junior-Senior Banquet. The Junior Prom was the class project. Palm trees, grass huts, a jungle, and a volcano brought the theme “Jamaica Farewell to life. The Senior year began with the loss of three students: Suzy Curtis, David Pauli, and Dora Hahn. June Hodgson joined the class to complete her education, making nineteen in the Senior Class. Under the direction of Robert Morris, the class presented the comedy play “Off the Track”. j C ass History Martha Baumann Trudi Bishop Craig Dyer Delane Hall Linda Hamma Linda Hilliard June Hodgson Ralph Hodgson Kathy Kaun Lauraine Miller Daniel McLean Fred Nebel David Perry Jerry Sawyer Vcrnice Schlepp Donna Stinson Lois Strandberg Linda Wikstrom Larry Zirnbelman Senior Snaps The Junior Class honored the seniors at the Junior-Senior Banquet, May II The mothers of the Brady Juniors prepared the banquet.
