A simple word, but a word which tonight is the most important word in our lives; for tonight we become adults and the leaders of tomorrow. With Graduation, our high school education is now complete. What we do with our lives is now up to us. Our high school education will be the background for our future. We as seniors are proud of the education received at Brady High School. We know that we can look forward to the future with confidence. Whether we attend college or choose another pathway, we will always have our school days to look back on. I don't leel that a president's message must be a farewell. A farewell, yes, in the sense that we are saying good-by to our understanding teachers and friends; but it is really only the be- ginning as we are saying a Hello to the world. I’m sure I speak for the rest of the graduating seniors when I say that we will do our best to fulfill the hopes of our parents and teachers; we will make them proud. To all moms and dads we say thank you. Thank you for all the help you have given us; thank you for putting up with us when we were unbearable. To all teachers we say thank you for all the encouragement, advice, and much needed guidance throughout our school years. To you my fellow classmates, I say thank you for having given me the honor to represent you at our graduation. In closing, I d like to leave this message from Oliver Wendell Holmes: To reach the port of Heaven we must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it. But we must sail, and not drift nor lie at anchor. ” Randy Moser Sponsored by ARNOT'S FURNITURE AND HARDWARE CLASS HISTORY In the fall of 1959, twelve somewhat bewildered freshmen entered the halls of Brady High School. Of the twelve students, eight - Karen Weikum, Velma Thompson, Kippy Keller, Dick Matthys, Randy Moser, Gerald Pauli, Paul Perry, and Barry Barrington - have attended school together for twelve years. The other four students who made up the total of twelve are: Gary Gollehon; Terry Sloan; Harold Lindsey, who transferred from Dutton; and Sharon Hilliard, a transfer from Canada. The highlight of our freshman year was initiation, which we somehow managed to survive. As the year passed, we became accustomed to the routine of high school life. In the fall of 1960 the Sophomore Class grew to 14 students when Stanley Nash, a transfer from Great Falls; Delvin Trost, a transfer from Simms; and David Erdman, a transfer from Shelby joined us. Terry Sloan was lost to the incoming Freshman Class. The most enjoyable event of this year was initiating the freshmen. As Juniors, we honored the seniors with the Junior-Senior Banquet and the prom with Japanese Sunset as the theme of it. Our class was once more replenished with the additions of Dennis Rossmiller; Gerald Severson; and John Driessen, who dropped out later in the year. The fall of 1962 saw fourteen seniors begin their last year of high school. Two students, Dennis Rossmiller, and Stanley Nash, dropped out. The juniors honored us with a banquet and a prom, and we spent our Senior Trip at Flathead Lake. The students who looked forward with mixed emotions to graduating and what the future might bring to them were: Sharon Hilliard, Karen Weikum, Velma Thompson, Gary Gollehon, Kippy Keller, Harold Lindsey, Dick Matthys, Randy Moser, Gerald Pauli, Paul Perry, Gerald Severson and Delvin Trost.
