MESSAGE Parents, Teachers, and Friends, As President of the Class of 1961 I have been chosen to bid you farewell. First, I would like to thank our parents for their guidance and help throughout our school days. Now we realize the importance of the education they have furnished us. We deeply appreciate their efforts on our behalf. Next, our thanks to our teachers who have put up with us the past twelve years. Yes, we owe much to our teachers, and we sincerely hope that they will accept our thanks, even though inadequately expressed. Will you, teachers who have done so much, read between the lines of this address and remember that we truly are thankful and want you to know that your influence will go with us far beyond the hours of school time? The school board, too, deserves thanks. We have accepted their work with no mention of appreciation, but we have been quick to grumble if they made rulings contrary to our liking. They have had the responsibility of hiring teachers. Have we ever thanked them for making such good selection? They have provided us with this excellent school, containing all the facilities for a modern education. We extend our heartfelt thanks. The Brady Community also deserves an expression of gratitude. They have cheered us in our sports, bought our cakes and annuals, listened to our com- plaints, given us advice, and provided a good community atmosphere. I am happy to be the one to express our thanks as we prepare to say fare- well” to our school. Some of us will go on to school, others may stay at home or enter business, but whatever we do, and wherever we go, our hearts are full of gratitude, and we are happy to have this opportunity to express it. Once more, thank you - and farewell. HAROLD CYR ---------- ----------------------------------—Lv Sponsored by DRAKE’S DRUG STORE, Conrad, Montana
