CLASS WILL we, the members of the class of 1959, a few of us being of sound mind and the rest of able body, do desire to set down the distribution of our property. We solemnly affirm this to be our last will and testament. To the Faculty we deem it wise to leave our 'Senior Manners. To our inferiors, the Juniors, we give all our surplus credits, of which we have a superabundance, and all of which the class of 1960 will be in sorely need before their last duties will have been performed, we leave them also the privilege of occupying our vacated seats. To our beloved Sophomores we leave the prospect of a bright future, a hazy past, and our place in the chow line. To the Freshmen we leave an ample supply of wisdom. To all who may be interested. John Laasch leaves his mechanical ability to Harold Cyr. Jim Holland bequeaths his raven locks and one shiny boot to Gary Peterson. Les Hodgson bestows his basketball ability to Mike Beatty. Marvin Thompson wills his ability to slide through high school in four years to Howard Kruger and John Driessen. Larry Oien bequeaths his dancing ability to both Ted Mumm and Howard Kruger. George Mundy leaves his height to Doug Schlepp. Rena Trost leaves her ability to get away with mischief to Lyla Dyer, Margo Coghill, and Cheryl Kauk. Norma Fitzgerald bestows her lady-like ways to Sharilyn Bartsch, Doris Mumm bequeaths her ability to bug boys to Dolores Wesley. To Mr. Lashway we bequeath a less dignified Senior class for next year. To Mr. Hendrickson we leave a bass drum head and a slightly bent music stand To Mr. Richwine we will anything we have forgotten to blow up, break, or wear out. To Mrs. Syverson we leave a library full of English books, comics, and chew- ing gum. To Mr. Reese we will a slightly tattered annual staff for next year. To Mr. McCauley we bestow a green basketball team, a formidable football squad, and one spavined miler. We leave an abundant supply of sunflower seeds to Slim. We leave the old high school to the public. To the new school we leave our fondest dreams and hopes. In testimony whereof we hereby set our hands and seal and publish this our last will and testament, in the presence of the witnesses named below, this 18th day of May, in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and fifty mne.
