65444 af NZ? Many things are sometimes revealed to us in our dreams. On one occa- sion the future of my classmates was revealed to me. The future of each was revealed in succession, a period of twenty years qfollowing graduationy having elapsed. The first to come to me in this dream was Clifford Curtis. How Clifford had changed! These last twenty years had delt hard with him. He chose a wife and is now leading the life of a hen-pecked husband. He is trying to support his family Qwhich is largey by supervising a chicken farm in California. The next to appear before me was Kathryn Ward. Poor girl! She, like Clifford, entered the holy bonds of matrimony, and is now wasting her life away on a dairy farm near the scene of her high school days. But what has become of Angus Rose? He, after having been turned down with an abrupt No by his freshman sweetheart, is a confirmed bachelor. He took advantage of his artistic ability and now has a permanent position draw- ing pictures for Mother Goose Tales. Where is Lyle Penix, whom we remember as the most carefree and happy- go-luc ky boy in our class? To my amazement, Ifound that he had all these years been standing before large multitudes of South African Negroes, imparting to them the doctrines of Christianity, And Mary Rose? Well, she always did have a mind of her own, and I be- lieve she had shown what she could do with it. She is a professor of mathematics in Harvard. There are rumors that she is engaged to a certain gentleman who is interested in oil and mechanics, Bernal Leary was next. Lo, he has won fame and reknown throughout Chicago and Minneapolis. He is known all over the U.S. as the Distillery King. Paul Armsuong was next in line. Having studied aviation, he is now flying high. He makes regular trips to China, searching for lost treasure, he says---perhaps it's for some lost sweetheart.
