In witness whereof, We, the Class of 1958, have to this our will, set our hands and seal this fifteenth day of May, Anno Domiini, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-eight. CLASS PROPHECY As we look through the front telescopic screen of our satelite, we see the earth coming into view., Let's go down closer and see the class of 1958 ten years after graduation. Circling a- round earth, we find that we must land because of the fuel decrease. As we check the radar screen, we find, that Las Vegas, Nevada, is the nearest landing point. Landing our satelite, which is driven by DORMAN RIDDLES, we decide to find reservations at the Carson Hotel owned by CHAN CARSON. Walking into the lobby, we see GRAY CARRITHERS, the new rock and roll star who just made his tenth golden record. The bellboy, ROBERT DUDE CARMICHAEL, es- corted us to our exclusive suite. We found that our neighboring friends next door were the newly Weds GARY BRYSON and BECKY MARSDEN who just returned from their chicken farm at Fred- ericksburg, Texas. As we were becoming hungry, we went to the dining room where ERNEST CAMARGO was serving his specialty, Nut stew for the robots. After dinner we departed in our jet mobile, driven by PAUL MIRELES, to the roughest Casino in town owned by KENNETH HALL. Entering, we saw ANN CAPPS at the blackjack table taking money from ALVIS DAVEN- PORT and LETA CRAWFORD. We then saw LLOYD HARRIS who had just divorced BRENDA CARROL because her sputnik plant had gone bankrupt. Leaving all of this vice we returned to our suite. The next morning we headed for Texas. On our journey we stopped in New Mexico at the horse races. JOHNNY MILLER was the jockey for MINERVA MARTINEZ Whose horse Beetle Boom had lost every race. Leaving New Mexico, we journeyed east, and came to 'Houston, Texas, where We saw TOM WHITE, BILLIE BARSCH, and BOB WOODARD who had never returned from the Senior trip in '58. Proceeding to Brady, our ole town, we received a great shock to see TOMMY KYZAR preaching to the mulitude on Whiteland Hill. JAN HARVEY was leading the singing. Going around the square, we saw ROBERT RODDIE, the new chief of police, driving Teddy's Kaiser. ANITA JORDAN, the county judge, had just indicted THEBA BLACKWELL, LESLIE ARMSTRONG, and JIMMY ADAMS for having races around the square in their l6 cylinder jet mobiles. PATRICIA CAVIN and GEORGE CUDE had just returned from their honeymoon in the African jungle where they owned their hut for summer vacation. Departing farther down south to New Orleans, we found RAYMOND RUBIO and the Rocking Six, CHARLES LAND on bass, PETE LAFUENTE on trumpet, ANNETTE YOUNG on piano, JIMMIE STEEL on guitar, and RONNIE TURNELL on clarinet. DON TAYLOR was starring as the new out of this world jazz singer. Going north back to our satelite, we saw LARRY SMITH with his Smooth Eight, MICKEY MILLS, GLENDA FOWLER, SANDRA HALL, RUTH NELIN, MARY ANN DILLON, KADHRANN JONES, BETTY RICHIE, and SANDRA HARGROVE who were ushers for his amphitheater. As we glanced around, we saw LUPE ELGUESEBA, CAROLYN LAFUENTE, ESPERANZA VALDEZ, and KATHERINE RUIZ who were directors of the television program, Never Give Up. GEOR- GINE CAYLOR was supplying the money for the program from her new invention, capsules for the mentally ill. Returning to our satelite we found a newspaper with the headlines that CHARLES ORTIZ was head cheerleader for the New York Yankies. WILLIAM LAWRENCE was the coach for this losing team. Glancing into .the stands, we saw MARY ESTER RAILSBACK, LANELL STEWART, and PAULA MYERS who were guests for the game from Paris where they were models. Gliding off into space we recall the many happy years that we enjoyed at good ole Brady High School. Even though all these years have passed, we still will remember all the fun that we had during our high school days. J ,-,, , 1- I - , ww 532, fn? ff Q - I, , f' 1, . ..g1. .
