Football Preview After getting off to a slow start, Bradner's 1949 football Blacktide improved throughout the season and reached peak form in the Luckey game to coast the re- maining way for a second place tie with Bloomdale and Risingsun. Coached by the veteran H. E. Snyder, who piloted previous Bradner gridders to two undefeated seasons, the squad also had the direction of Joe Sproul as assist- ant coach.
