Sen :or Class H :story In 1938 twenty three t1m1d youngsters started to Bradner elementary school Our f1rst grade teacher was Mrs Crzbbs Through our elementary grades we had the followxng teachers Mlss lone Blessxng second and th1rd grades Mrs Goetz fourth grade Mrs Carl Hutson flfth and s1xth grades We f1nally made the seventh grade after sxx very long years The e1ghth grade com mencement was our long last goal ln our Sophomore year we lost three of our classmates Mrs Snyder helped to make an exc1t1ng year Our .Tumor year found us w1th s1xteen members The date for our Jumor Semor ban quet was set for May Z1 1949 Moonlxght and Roses was the beautmful theme of thxs gay occas1on A program was glven by the Master of Ceremomes Chfford Sawyer The t1re group was taken to the Paramount Theater to see the stage show Stop The Musmc September 7 1949 fourteen Semors began thexr last year ln B H S Class offlcers were as follows V1ce Pres1dent Cl1fford 'Sawy r Secretary Vera Swartz Treasurer Marllyn Jordan Reporter Bernad1ne Saam Bmg events of thxs year mcluded the arrlval of our class rxngs and havmg our pxctures taken We sponsored the Halloween party and chxcken supper The Atomrc Announcer Staff sponsored a popu1ar1ty contest Vera Swartz and Leo Molter were chosen most popular boy and g1r1 1n hxgh school CHEERLEADERS HAVE SUCCESSFUL YEAR Through the football season Mary Jo Krawetzke Mar11yn Molnar Vera Swartz Joyce Molnar and Joyce Rubel acted as cheerleaders rn supportxng the team Black and gold sh1rts and blue Jeans made up the umforms At the end of the football season Mary Jo Krawetzke Vera Swartz and Mar11yn Molnar were elected as cheerleaders for the basketball season Black dresses trzmmed wzth gold were worn The cheerleaders felt they had a successful year although they had quxte a hard Job m support1ng the Blacktxde 1n every game 15 . . . .
