Chrzstmas Program Presentmg the annual Chrlstmas program December Z1 1949 at 8 P M the par t1c1pat1ng students performed before a record audlence The Legend Of The Snowman' was glven by the lower s1x grades and dxrected by Mrs Rutter Mrs Foster Mrs Alexander and Mrs Casteel A spoxled selfxsh httle boy who hoarded h1s many toys thought klndly of no one was self centered and as the play contmnuted became a lovmg httle boy was the ma1n theme of tlus Legend M110 Bo1ce played th1s role wxth Manetta Holcombe as h1s slster Larry Swartz was the Snowman A most enjoyable operetta one of the best ever presented As a grand conclusmon, g1rls from the upper s1x grades adorned 1n snowy whzte formals comprzsed the muslcale Angel Concert ' Begmmng on the stage the gxrls sang three songs and as they were leavmg the stage they sang Jzngle Bells then they formed a c1rc1e on the audltorlum floor h1gh11ght of the evemng and one of the most 1mpress1ve format1ons was the revolvxng snowballs as the song W1nter Wonderland was be1ng sung Cand1e11ght a1ded 1n makxng th1s all g1r1 program a beaut1ful spectacle The g1r1s wxsh to express thexr thanks to Mrs Snyder for her orxgmahty 1n wr1t1ng and d1rect1ng The Angel Concert They had much fun 1n presentmg It Appreclatlon 15 also due to Mrs Khngman, who was the accompl1shed pxamst 'v-'wtf' r l O U I 1 - vo ' ll I ' ' ' . g . 9 Q .
