Much of the Bradley Story is observed as students enter and leave the battered build- ing that houses approximately nineteen hundred students and teachers. The screech- ing of bus brakes and the tolling of the bells which indicate that classes have begun or ended lends an eerie, and yet a much antici- pated, feeling of jubilance for the beginning and the ending of a day’s accomplishments. Here are typical scenes from a day in “The Bradley Story.” A class in English. Could hardly wait to leave those horrible classes. But, what now?
