The motto, Toward New Horizons, expresses the purpose of the organization—learning to live better to- day in order that our lives and those of our families may be better tomorrow. As an integral part of the homemaking program, activities are planned in order to carry out the goals of the organization. There are many opportunities for girls to attend workshops, conferences, conventions and camps. Girls gain personal satisfaction and help their home, school, community and chapter by working on degrees. s4 t ue Art in everyday living is expressed in a Christ- mas unit. As a community project, F.H.A. girls study home nursing in co-operation with the Bradley County Red Cross and Civilian Defense program. The Chapter carries on many worthwhile projects such as filling Christmas baskets for the needy. Selection, construction and care of clothing will help the girl today and the homemaker of to- morrow.
