That is what was found on the faces of students who attended the assemblies. fll The Fonz . prompted by Dr. Ross, the hypnotist, gave a lecture on school spirit to the student body. 163 Dr. Ross even had the senior girls believing that he had special see-through glasses. 181 Music assemblies were a favorite with everyone as Gene Cotton, folksinger, well proved. Q41 171 Phoenix and Solar Wind pro- vided rock music for bumping at the soc hops as well as for assemblies. Q51 Pep as- semblies promoted school spirit in everyone! Q25 G Q31 Probably the best aspect of assem- blies was that students were out of class and were able to find, perhaps, some moments to turn their thoughts to things other than school work. 30 Fairs FAIR Fairs are always a success! The Foreign Language Fair sponsored by the BBCHS and area schools' foreign language departments certainly proved this statement true. fly Vicki Helgeson, Pam Carter, Denise Calvin, Mary Marcotte, and Laura Devine participated in just one of the many skits representing various countries. Ger- man, Spanish and French restaurants provided a continental atmosphere by sewing authentic foods of the represented countries. 131 Steve Dumey, waiter, prepares to take jay Meissen's order in the German restaurant.
