We hope that you will remember the many pleasant things that have happened to you. They did not just happen-you, through your right way of doing things, brought about pleasant incidents. You possibly remember some incidents that were not so pleasant, such as being needlessly late or absent, or failing to do necessary assignments. Memories of these events are not so pleasant. These things have all been steps in learning how to live with people. Let us hope that we have learned by the things done well to continue them in that manner and by those not done well to have improved ourselves for the Jeff S. A. SMITH Prinripal future. It approves budgets of all school organizations and makes an advisory report to the principal. It assists with the sponsoring of all school activities. It seeks to strengthen relations with other schools. This year the Student Council sponsored Homecoming, Twirp Week, and a student field day. It also raised over S5100 to send a ton of CARE to Korea, India, Israel, Hungary, and Egypt. Officers for the following year are elected in the spring as the climax of a vigorous campaign. Last year's election resulted in the election of Tom Wieliczko as president and Ed Moersch as vice president from the Senior ticket and to Carol Martin as secretary and Carol Davidson as treasurer from the junior slate. Representatives to Student Council are elected by classes, the number of representatives depending on the size of the class. Advisors are Mrs. Moore and Mr. Canham.
