ABSTRACT OF TITLE Umted States Treaty to Dated October 1832 Mesheketeno See United States Statutes At Large Two Sections of land was reserved to M e-she-ke-te-no, an Indian at the Treaty of Camp Tippecanoe, in the State of Indiana, October, A. D. 1832, and granted to him at the Treaty of Chicago, A. D. 1833, with power to sell and convey with the approval of the President. Me she-ke-te-no Deed to Dated July 15, 1834 Noel Vasseur Recorded Book 3, Page 85 31,000.00 Conveys a part of the land reserved to Me-she-ke-te-no by Treaty at Camp Tippecanoe, Indiana, October 20, 1832, between the Commissioners of the United States and Chiefs and Head Men of the Pottawatamie Tribe of Indians of the Prairie and Kankakee, said Tract to contain 640 acres and to be off of the east side of said Reservation bounded as fol- lows: on the south by the Kankakee River, on the west by the residue of Said Reservation.
