ALUM N I Upon interviewing the Senior Class of 1939, we find each of them indulging in the following occupations: Norma Bleau, our Senior Class President, is employed at the Easy Nay Stove Works where she is doing office work. June Ralph, who is looking for- ward to a career in the field of nursing, is now in training at St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee. Marian Prairie is furthering her education by preparing herself for a career in the business world She is continuing her studies at Gal1agher's School of Business and also working part time at McC1ellan's Frances Klonosky is employed at the Kankakee Departmental School, where she is doing secretarial work Adeline Boudreau 13 employed part time at the Kankakee County Farm Bur eau Association in the Volkman Building Irene Troutman is at home at the present time At McClellan's we find Elizabeth Starasinich, who is clerking Eleanor Smith is employed at the Bear Brand Hosiery Company On 'Bradley's Broadway, at the National Tea Company, Joe Dominick is proving himself a very able clerk Devon Cart, who formerly had been employed at Sears, Roebuck and Company is now at home Tony Toluiszis is lending assistance to his brother Paul by working for the Toliuszis Delicious Bakery Glenn Mulligan ls employed at the Bear Brand Hosiery Company at the pre sent time Robert Ryan is proving himself to be quite businessman He is employed in the office of the Turk Manufacturing Company Clarence Stoltz is learning something of inter ior decorating since he is now helping his father Ross Flora is another who has a white collar job He is working at Adelman's Shoe Store Robert Kolwelter is employed at the Turk Manu facturing Company Last but not least, at the David Bradley Manu facturing Company, we find Clyde Mulligan, Paul Legris, and Delbert McCammon President Norma Bleau Vice President Clarence Stoltz Treasurer Robert Ryan fs 29 W a Secretary. JR opfjmc For my first time in ten years, I was going back to Bradley in a large transport airplane Imagine my excitement' In a few hours I shall greet all my old classmates Looking up from my magazine which was edited by Charles Voorhees, I saw Donna Larkins coming toward me dressed in an air hostess uniform She had always carrled this one ambition in her mind, and now she was a great success We chatted for a while and soon she told me it was time to land The big plane, piloted so capably by Lloyd Marlaire, came to a sudden halt I stepped off and hurried to a taxi It was a great surprise when Edward Kiedzorick said, 'Where to, Madamq' I got in the front seat of the cab with h1m and we talked of the good times we used to have in Miss Brock's English Class According to my wishes he pulled up in front of the Bradley Drug Store. I instructed him not to forget the Reunion, then bade him farewell and went inside While waiting for a clerk, my eyes drifted to a diploma which was hanging above the counter Fred Beach's name was on it and below were the words, ' egistered Pharmacist As it was a warm day, I decided to have a soda I looked up and there stood Ieonard Martin who was now a soda jerker While waiting for the soda, I noticed a very lovely couple It was Betty and Bob Martin, who came in to get something for their crying twins Talk ing with her, we recalled the great times we had had in school She also a housewife Finishing my soda, I decided to go to the gymnasium As I went outside, I met Stan Leszczewioz who is proprietor of the 'Colony Club ' He has for entertainment, that greet dance team Ludia and Joresco who formerly were known as Frances Burkhalter and Leon Slovikoeki Music is furnished by Francis Amiot and his orchestra The drummer is Donald Johnson and the Trumpet player is Raymond Outsen In High School these boys were trained by Donald Arthur The Blue Singer is Ieota Roush whose voice was discover ed by a talent scout, Harvey Hackley, who is going to take her to Hollywood in a few weeks. After exchanging greetings, we started for our destination When we ar rived at the gym, I noticed two young men standing together and talking very much in earnest It was Red Mulligan and Ray Sanor who are now Brad ley's best Undertakers They told me that Lavern Hahs, who went to college four years, is now a coach at Illinois He is also engaged to be married t0 Juanita Lucas She became a reporter for the 'Bradley Tlmes,' which is now edited by Hal Mccleary, who had taken this paper over when school was finished His assistant editor is Eugene Marquis Standing in a corner I saw Alpha Englehart and Gladys Hacker Alpha is now a great lawyer, and she has won many cases, and made a great name for herself Gladys had studied to be a Nurse and is now working at the Silver Cross Hospital Ah! Who comes here Junior McCue and Shirley Heinze Junior is now manager of a 'Meat Market,' in the city of Kankakee, and Shirley is now an English teacher at Bradley High She has had this position for three years She said that Arlene LaGesse is employed at David Bradley's where she is a secretary and has charge of all the girls in the outer office Leonard Klenzak, who is now Elmer Stump's Chauffeur, sat in a long lim ousine in front of the gym Elmer is a Traveling Salesman, just returned from an extended trip to Europe Of all the group, Albert Iegris was the only one who couldn't make the reunion He was in Washington making a speech to the 'Future Farmers of America ' I was very happy to have been able to make this trip and to see that all my classmates had become so successful As I went back home, I began to remlninence and wished that we were all once again back in dear old Bradley H1611 so U ' f E7 . .H told me of the great success Bob had made in baseball, and of her career as O
