Htstory of Class of 1952 In 1940 Mlss Devine of Livermore, opened her arms to receive a new group of timid first graders Our class consisted of eight brilhant students They were Harley Bradburn Stanley BenJamin, Jean Davis, Lee Jarvis, Norman Madsen, Farrel Wright, Janice Olson and Larry Larsen The next year Miss Devme contmued her helping hand gaming Donna Cooksey and losing Larry Larsen. In the th1rd grade we found a change in room and also the teacher Miss Stowe guided us this year and we gained Muriel Foley and lost Donna Cooksey and Lee Jarvis When we entered the fourth grade, we gained four students They were Richard Jarvis, Galin Berrler, Billy Jarvls, and Leona Anhker We lost Janice Olson and Jean Davls Miss Gladys Larsen was our advlser this year In the fifth grade, under the capable hand of Mrs Tawney we continued our climb We lost Muriel Foley, Stanley Benyamln, Farre1Wrlght, but picked up Lowell Jennings and Naoml Dall Under the same gulde in our sixth year we lost Naoml Dall, Harley Bradburn, Leona Anliker, and Billy Jarvls wxth no gam During our seventh year Mrs Nora Hecht dlrected us We gained Leona Anlxker, Yvonne Abens, and FarrelWr1ght, leaving our class roll of seven members Still under the guxdance of Mrs Hecht we graduated from the eighth grade w1th a class roll of seven We lost Yvonne Abens, and gained Dale Jensen Our class colors were red When we entered hlgh school, we lost Galln Berrier leaving only six of us to go through the engpoyment of 1n1t1at1on We were guxded by Mr Ka Mrs Taylor, Miss Blessing, and Mr Hartman We lost Dale Jensen 1n our sophomore year and were under the guidance of Mrs Hein, Mr Bellls, Mr Wtlken, Mr Roed, and Haynes Crosby Under the dxrectlon of Mr Bellls, Mr Blrchmlre, Mr Wilken, Mr Roed, and Haynes Crosby, we kept our same class roll 1n our Jumor year They were Leona Anllker, Lowell Jenmngs, Rxchard Jarvxs, Norman Madsen, and Farrel Wright We were sorry to lose Lowell Jennmgs from our class durxng the flrst part of the last semester of our senior year Under the guidance of Mrs Bratland, Mrs Haselton, Mr Roed, Mr Bellls, and Mr Baxter, we the class of 1952, numbermg four, w1ll go, On to Vlctory 5 .
